RSMF Mission Statement

To add value to the public & private sectors by advancing the effective management of risk, as it relates to all areas of security.

To achieve its Mission the Forum will:

draw upon the expertise of its membership to identify and communicate effective risk and security management;
promote, particularly at senior executive levels, the benefits of effective risk & security management;
become a valued point of contact for opinion formers in the public & private sectors;
bridge the public & private sectors; and
develop inclusive ways of identifying, analysing, assessing, and controlling risk.

Members will always act in the best interest of the Forum and never abuse it to promote or acquire personal advantage.

Members will attend Forum meetings regularly and contribute actively to the achievement of the Mission.

Members will honour commitments made to the Forum or to other members.

Members will do business openly and honestly, carefully observing the confidentiality of Forum proceedings under the Chatham House Rule.

Members will respect the values, customs and beliefs of each other and those with whom the Forum has dealings.
